About KIK for ISK pupils

Knowledge in the classroom (KIK) provides ISK pupils with the vocabulary essential for business subjects and prepares them for regular education. This way, they are ready for the future and can perform at their own level.

The first part of KIK is called KIK People and Society. This is a combination of history, social studies and geography. ISK students learn background knowledge as well as vocabulary to keep up with these subjects.

Attention is paid not only to actual knowledge, but also to school skills that are important in these subjects. Seven themes are offered about the pupil's place in his environment, forming an opinion, democracy, history and the Netherlands on the map.
