Nederlands in actie

Nederlands in actie is a complete method for learning Dutch, from level A2 to level B1. Each chapter covers all language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing. In addition, each chapter focusses on expanding the Dutch vocabulary and grammatical knowledge. The emphasis lies on the active use of the Dutch language in meaningful situations.

The book contains eight chapters, each with its own theme: work, study and leisure, traveling, feelings, education, foreigners in the Netherlands, relationships, economics and art.

The authors present the study material in an interesting and diverse way. The book contains recognizable texts and images from everyday life, appealing exercises and active study methods. The questions at the end of each chapter help the students reflect on their progress.

Nederlands in actie also has an accompanying website where students can find many additional material, including video and audio clips (including transcription), spoken texts and vocabulary from the book, additional commands and lists of common words. Teachers can order a manual and tests.

Nederlands in actie is the second part of the complete course for learning Dutch. The other parts are Nederlands in gang (0 > A2), Nederlands op niveau (B1 > B2) and Nederlands naar perfectie (B2 > C1) . The three methods together form a complete course for learning Dutch up to level C1.
