In 2015, the exam KNS has been changed. The exam has been divided in two parts: Knowledge of the Dutch society (KNM) and Orientation on the Dutch labor market (ONA). KNM looks like the old KNS, but with slightly different terms. ONA is a new element of the KNS with its own terms and a different exam. The goal is that the newcomers in the Netherlands will start to focus very quickly after their arrival on the Dutch labor market.
