Why NT2 Op maat?

With NT2 Op maat, the student works through the material in small, simple steps. Each book consists of relevant themes for the specific target group. Each theme pays equal attention to reading, writing, listening and speaking. In addition, words and grammar rules are learned (unnoticed).

Loads of exercises

NT2 Op maat offers a wealth of exercises that can be done both in class and independently, depending on the student's study skills. Students who need more guidance can be helped at the same time that other students are working independently. This way, you can differentiate well.

Appealing themes

The structure of NT2 Op maat is thematic. The student learns the material through various themes. The themes are inviting, sometimes with a touch of humor. They contain recognizable situations, such as a bickering couple or a bad day. The themes also include cultural information, such as dealing with others (the elderly, children, neighbors, colleagues) and the Dutch political system. The themes match the education level of the student.

Exam preparation

The three methods of NT2 Op maat work towards the different exams: the Civic integration exam, State exam NT2 I and State exam NT2 II. This makes it possible to respond to the specific requirements of the exams and exam candidates.

Structure

The language is presented in different ways. This way, the student practices the same thing but in a different way. For each topic, the learner has the opportunity to listen to the language input, review it and then use it themselves.

Vocabulary

Each theme contains a glossary of new words. Synonyms and descriptions in Dutch were deliberately chosen, because otherwise students would get stuck in translations. The method encourages students to expand their vocabulary outside of class as well.
