In Germany there is much interest in the Netherlands and many want to learn the Dutch language. Currently more and more German students find their way to Dutch universities and higher vocational education.
Op naar de eindstreep is a learning method for Germans with a high level of education. The method is both suitable for students who need to get to level B2 in order to study in the Netherlands, as well as for German speakers that want to learn Dutch working independantly or in Dutch language courses.
In each of the twelve chapters of Op naar de eindstreep, a Dutch province and a substantive theme are central. By means of a quiz, students are introduced to the Dutch provinces. In addition, in the preparation section, students learn new vocabulary based on current texts. In the section performing all skills are discussed and students work on various speaking assignments.
This issue includes a website with word lists, vocabulary exercises, multiple choice tests and the answers to the exercises from the book. A manual with useful copy sheets and tests is available for the teacher.
