How do you hold your own at work if you do not yet have a good command of the Dutch language and are unfamiliar with Dutch customs and work culture? With the Werktaalkit, practically educated non-Dutch speakers get a complete toolkit to guide them through their first steps in the Dutch labour market.
With the Werktaalkit, you work according to the requirements of the new integration. The lessons and practice reinforce each other. A bridge is built immediately between the classroom and everyday life. This allows the student to participate more confidently and with more fun on the shop floor.
In Werktaalkit Horeca, you are introduced to Parisa and Joris, who both work in the catering industry. You follow their daily activities and conversations. In the practical lessons, with lots of images and audio and the handy e-learning for extra vocabulary practice, you learn vocabulary that is important for the work you do at an early stage (from A1 onwards). You will also learn a lot about work organisation and work culture in chapters on rosters, planning, working together, safety and rules, employment contract and performance appraisal.
