Koffiepraatjes

Koffiepraatjes contains a wide range of colloquial expressions and language clichés. The material is packed into 163 dialogues and multi-voiced conversations, with word explanations, arranged in 16 themes. Online, you can listen to the spoken Koffiepraatjes: after all, they are talks, not reading texts. Online, you will also find several exercises to accompany the talks. 

The talks are usually very informal standard conversations that can take place at the coffee machine: hence the title Coffee Talks. They are about the coffee machine, the weather, food and drink, the weekend, the children, holidays, the neighbourhood, colleagues, meetings, housemates.... In short, they involve small talk.
