This learning dictionary depicts the meaning of words through unique illustrations. All words are also offered in context, so that when you look up a word, you immediately learn words related to it. Connected sentences and a short reading text illustrate the use of the words.

Structure

Woord en beeld is divided into 18 lessons. The lessons can be used interchangeably. The meaning of words in Woord en beeld is illustrated as much as possible with drawings. In each lesson the student finds additional explanations of a grammatical problem. He will also find a text in which some of the words from the lesson have been used.

Woord en beeld is an ideal tool for, among others, newly literate and practically educated foreigners to find, learn and use the words around a topic. The learning dictionary can be used alongside all regular beginning methods.
