Voor-schriften

Voor-schriften is an elementary writing course that aims to develop the writing skills of students so that they can advance from reproducing texts to creating their own texts. The book deals with the following subjects: writing conventions, vocabulary, idioms, and grammar. Students learn how to write personal and formal letters and fill out forms. An entire chapter is devoted to email.

Voor-schriften is comprised of 3 parts: personal letters, forms, and formal correspondence. Step by step, the students are taught to write their own letters and emails, ranging from postcards, invitations and thank-younotes, to letters of complaint, letters to official bodies and letters of application. The book contains many examples and is thus suitable as a reference work. A teacher’s manual is included in the front of the book.
